Three Barrels Rare Old French Brandy VSOP has a superior smoothness and velvety taste. Infused with subtle hints of almond and walnut, it culminates in a long finish enriched with candied fruits and ginger. The iconic Three Barrels symbolise the perfect harmony of eaux-de-vie sourced from Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Champagne, essential for creating the finest brandy experience.
The Three Barrels name finds its roots in 19th-century Canada, where sled-pulling huskies could manage no more than three barrels.
Established by two brothers in the early 1800s, the Raynal company changed hands to Moët-Hennessy in 1974 before regaining independence in 1999, facilitated by a consortium of venture capitalists led by Patrice Quatravaux. William Grant & Sons completed the acquisition of Raynal et Cie in October 2005.
