In 1905, Thomas Fentiman, an iron puddler hailing from Cleckheaton, England, found himself in a peculiar situation when a fellow tradesman approached him for a loan. They struck a deal, with a recipe for Botanically Brewed ginger beer offered as collateral. The loan was never repaid, and as a result, Thomas became the rightful owner of this unique recipe. He wasted no time and embarked on producing what is now known as Fentimans Ginger Beer. Today, well over a century later, the Fentimans family still holds the reins of this business, with ownership now resting in the hands of Eldon Robson, the Great Grandson of Thomas Fentiman.
