Jameson Black Barrel Irish Whiskey
Jameson Black Barrel Irish Whiskey pays homage to the coopers who painstakingly subject their barrels to an additional charring to bring out their hidden richness and complexity. This charring method is an age-old technique used to invigorate barrels and intensify their taste. The whiskey is left to mature in these double-charred barrels, giving it a unique richness and intensified notes of vanilla sweetness, caramel, toasted wood, fruit, and warm spice. The Jameson Black Barrel is triple distilled and twice charred, resulting in a smooth and rich taste.
In 2019, the whiskey received several accolades, including a high score of 94 points in the Ultimate Spirits Challenge, a double gold medal in the San Francisco World Spirit Competition, and a master award from TIWM.
