In the early 20th century, Vincenza Canale, a pioneering hostess and proprietor of the renowned Mariantonia hotel, delighted her guests by offering them her homemade limoncello. Keeping the family legacy alive, her descendants established Limoncello di Capri S.r.l. in 1988, becoming the first company to patent and adopt the name "limoncello," a charming adaptation of the ancient Caprese dialect word "limonillo." To this day, the original recipe crafted by Vincenza Canale remains faithfully preserved.

Limoncello Di Capri boasts an exclusive blend, lovingly crafted with P.G.I. Sorrento Lemons, also known as "Ovali di Sorrento" due to their distinctive oval shape. These luscious lemons flourish on the enchanting Sorrento peninsula and the idyllic island of Capri, contributing to the unparalleled essence of this renowned liqueur.
