In Jalisco, Mexico, tequila enthusiasts pause between sips, savouring the rich depth of flavour that has been cherished by locals for centuries. This cherished tradition, standing in stark contrast to the shot culture prevalent in bars elsewhere, deeply resonated with Seb Francis and Jordan Myers, whose profound experience inspired them to bring premium tequila to their home in the UK, aiming to cultivate a newfound appreciation for this often overlooked spirit.
However, finding the right distillery to collaborate with proved to be a difficult process. Through extensive flavour testing, discussions on techniques, and a shared vision, they eventually discovered a partner located just outside the town of Tequila, possessing the expertise and ambition to bring their unique flavoured tequila to fruition. The culmination of their efforts resulted in Hacien, a tequila named after the renowned haciendas of Jalisco, where it is sourced and bottled. Distilled entirely from 100% blue agave, Hacien embodies a natural sweetness that is smooth, subtle, and teeming with distinct flavour. It is presented in three enticing varieties: the aromatic Blanco, the barrel-aged Añejo Cristalino, and the signature lightly infused Pineapple Blanco.
