Bacardi Reserva Ocho Rare Gold Rum
Bacardi Reserva Ocho Rare Gold Rum is expertly crafted by the Maestros de Ron Bacardi. The rum is created using a special selection of barrel-aged reserve rums, aged 8 to 9 years, and is made smoother through a secret blend of charcoals. The final product is hand blended to achieve the desired taste profile, bottled, and sealed with a cork.
The rum boasts a complex flavour with various layers that unfold with each sip. The most prominent flavour is dried stone-fruit, specifically prune, with hints of black cherry. Strong wood notes, such as oak and maple, are present, along with vanilla, caramel, toffee, butterscotch, and spices like ginger, cinnamon, clove, all spice, and nutmeg. The sweetness is floral and honeyed, with a balance of caramelised banana and warm earthiness from walnuts and pecans. The finish is expansive and sweet, with a slight bitter edge from orange zest.
